3DCoat also has vastly superior UV capabilities - I think currently Substance Painter is only doing Auto-unwrapping which works for some cases but isn't near as flexible as the tools you get from 3DCoat. I'd buy that pack in a heartbeat for sure. You have a lot of control over your brushes and the smart materials are really good (though the default library is lacking). Assets are ready to use in ZBrush, Blender, Maya, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine and other Software. i think the tooltip should mention that the slot is not made for normal map.
#3d coat smart materials software
This is confusing because the icon for depth on smart material editor is blue/purple and because every other texturing software use normal map. Smart Profile 3D Wall Panels for Interior Wall. Normal map doesn't work well in 3Dcoat smart material but this is fine using a height map.
#3d coat smart materials download
Anything that would have that cool normal mapping for handles, grips, flooring, rubber patterns, etc (I can provide examples if need be). Buy and download a wide collection of Terrain 3D Models for Game Development process. Creating seamless corners and edges can be challenging with traditional building materials, but not to worry. Oh yeah if you are still looking for ideas on future material packs I'm definitely still interested in any type of rubber texture packs for sure. Except nowadays I don't even have to manually unwrap my models and 3D Coat does the boring job for me too lol This new era of 3d painting tools like substance painter and 3D coat is better than I could have imagined really with how easy and well it is to get the exact results I would expect if I had to do the traditional 2d painting with UV's in photoshop like the old days. Best part is it is very easy to make multiple variations quickly and natural looking. Adding layers of chipped metal, scratches, and a little dust really makes a model look worn and used.

I use a combination of my own custom materials and your weather effects and the results are always great. If I buy the 3rd link (the all one) that comes with both 3d coat packs right? I primarily use 3D Coat to make scratch built weapons for games and nothing is more fun than when I get to the painting section. I am using win 10 with Finnish language version. I uninstalled, deleted the 3d Coat folders, reinstalled but still nothing. After I had installed 3d Coat, the smart materials tab didnt show any materials on it. Oh man that weapons pack is definitely for me, I'll have to pick it up this weekend. I did search the forums about this issue, but couldnt find an answer.
